When the US Post Office released
the stamp with Elvis Presley's image on it, they polled citizens as o
which image they would like best to represent Elvis,.. the young
,vibrant Elvis , or the older Las Vegas period Elvis. Hands down, the
Young image was the winner. You could say much the same thing about
Victor Trevino Jr.'s portrayal of the King of Rock n' Roll. His is the
young, vibrant version that portrays Elvis in his hey day, when he was
still signed to Sun Records and was making his way around the southwest
and then later the world.
Victor's show lends itself to
the rock-a-billy, boogie woogie versions of Elvis' music with incredible
authenticity. He shows his audience exactly what it was like to
experience Elvis in those days when he was tearing up the concert stages
like he did so many times on the Louisiana Hayride and like he did on
the TV shows of the day like Steve Allen, Milton Berle and the Ed
Sullivan show. Now with Victor's show , you can see just what the Ed
Sullivan audience saw that the TV audience couldn't see when he was
filmed from the waist up.
The show filmed above was in
Ft. Worth Texas with FEVER -The ULTIMATE Tribute Band providing the back
up. |
