In the 1950's
there were several names that came out of SUN Records that helped
define and change the course of music. Elvis, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee
Lewis , and of course The Man In Black,.. JOHNNY CASH. His was the kind
of song that fall into the "Storyteller" type of song, and as far as
artists who were inspired by Johnny Cash and his sound, there is None
Better than BENNIE WHEELS. Bennie has been performing both a Tribute to
Johnny Cash and also Elvis Presley for a number of years, but it is his
Tribute to Mr. Cash where Bennie Really shines. The onstage banter, the
humor and the attention to detail regarding Johnny Cash is what puts
Bennie in a league all his own.

perform as June Carter Cash with as much finesse and Realism as Bennie
